2020 Giving Challenge

2020 Giving Challenge Thank You banner.

Dear 2020 Giving Challenge Supporters,

The Sarasota County Community Foundation and The Patterson Foundation sponsored this year’s Giving Challenge. It was launched amid the confusion in which the COVID-19 pandemic has plunged all of our lives.  Yet, more than 50,000 generous Sarasota and Manatee County citizens came forward, in a 24-hour period, to support hundreds of worthy non-profits. The 2020 Giving Challenge, whose activities cover an amazing range of concerns, raised more than $18 Million this year.

Florida Veterans For Common Sense Fund (FLVCS Fund) is one of the fortunate non-profit charities who benefited from the outpouring of your support.  Over 100 donors chose to support FLVCS Fund activities with more than $10,000 in donations. Generously, The Patterson Foundation matched these donations  (up to $100 per donation) providing FLVCS Fund with more than $18,000 in total financial support.  All of us associated with FLVCS Fund, humbly and gratefully appreciate your charitable support.

THANK YOU,

/S/
